About Us
Security Shutters Northwest is a subsidiary of Shutters Portland founded by owner-operator Charles Gardella.
As a young man, Charles learned the trade from his father and grandfather doing installation and sales. Charles' grandfather, Wallis Gardella, started The Shade Shop in 1922 in Washington DC and Springfield Virginia.
Security Shutters Northwest proudly represents QMI, the gold-standard in security shutters.
